Manfred Heiting – collector, curator and publisher who co-founded the FFF in 1984 – will return for CELEBRATION IMAGINATION: 40 JAHRE FOTOGRAFIE FORUM FRANKFURT.
Looking back to the founding of the FFF with insights from Manfred Heiting, the group will also discuss Dr Martina Mettner's role in the German Photographic Society (DGPH) in the age of artificial intelligence and her early work at the FFF. Prof Celina Lunsford will highlight the continuous evolution and timeless aspects of photography. Prof Celina Lunsford will look at the continuing evolution and timeless aspects of photography. The discussion will be moderated by Freddy Langer, author, critic and photographer, who has been involved with the FFF since its inception.

The Fotografie Forum Frankfurt (FFF) is one of the leading centres of photography in Europe. As an exhibition space, institution and event forum the FFF deals with all aspects of photography. Since its founding in 1984 it has presented more than 290 exhibitions with historic and contemporary artists. Additionally, the programme of the FFF comprises of regular workshops, talks and discussions with internationally renowned photographers, artists and experts.
