This workshop is a visual study trip to the Casa Planas research and cultural center. The center houses Europe’s most significant photographic archive dedicated to tourism advertising.

As part of the programme, a training workshop on deconstructing tourist imagery will be conducted by the Casa Planas team. Key topics include the exploitation of natural resources for tourism and the central role of photography as a tool for marketing desires. Additionally, a critical analysis of the global phenomenon of vacationing and hypermobility in a globalized system will be conducted.

During the workshop, participants will visit various cultural centers on the island and take part in both theoretical and practical seminars.

The workshop results will be presented at Casa Planas during the Congress for Sustainable Tourism Culture (COSTA).
