In this four-day masterclass with renowned photographer Elinor Carucci, we will explore these questions and develop a personal photo project on the theme of (self-)portraiture – from the initial idea to conceptualization and practical execution.

How can we use the camera to capture people and their stories? How can emotions, identity, and the invisible be made visible? This masterclass invites participants to discover portraiture as a means of expression and to use it consciously – to explore, question, and document people, spaces, and encounters through photography. By engaging deeply with their own experiences and surroundings, participants will refine their visual language and develop their photographic style.

A key objective of the masterclass is to provide technical and conceptual confidence in photographic practice. In addition to practical exercises, the program includes portfolio reviews, individual feedback, and guidance for improving one's photographic work.
