Workshop schedule
Meeting at 10 am at the FFF.
Participants will begin by exploring Instagram as a marketing platform and reviewing inspiring examples of successful accounts.
This will be followed by a concise introduction to how the app works, its various features, content formats, and the effective use of hashtags.
Participants will also learn how to set meaningful goals for their Instagram presence, identify their target audience, and create strategic content that captures attention.
Equipment
Smartphone and the Instagram app installed on it. An account should already exist or be set up.
Participants are asked to bring a smartphone with the Instagram app pre-installed and writing materials to the workshop. If you prefer, you can also take notes on your laptop or tablet.

In the digital age, a presence on social media platforms is essential for many photographers’ professional success. Instagram plays a central role, offering numerous opportunities to showcase your work and connect with the right audience.
In this workshop, you will learn which Instagram features are particularly relevant and how to effectively use its various formats – such as posts, stories, or reels. You will gain insights into how the algorithm works, how hashtags and engaging captions can boost your reach, and how to sustainably build a community genuinely interested in your work.
Another key focus, is how to develop of a personalized social media strategy. You will also receive practical tips for producing creative content regularly and efficiently.
This workshop is ideal for beginners who want to familiarize themselves with the basics of Instagram and social media, and take their first strategic steps into the world of Instagram.
Robert Schittko, is a versatile artist who works extensively with ceramics and photography. His works often combine various materials and techniques to create a unique expression. Schittko studied at the Hochschule für Gestaltung Offenbach, where he completed his degree. In addition to numerous exhibitions, he shares his knowledge in workshops and projects to make art and creative processes more accessible.
He successfully manages the Instagram presence of the MARS exhibition space in Frankfurt and supports numerous renowned clients with images for social media, including the Hamburger Bahnhof in Berlin, the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation, and Schauspiel Frankfurt.
Please note that for this event the access is limited and a previous registration is necessary.

Your payment should reach our account fourteen days before the start of the workshop and is necessary for the participation. In the event of your absence without prior notice of at least 14 days we can unfortunately not refund the fee of the workshop.
